The O-Shot
The O-Shot or Orgasm Shot is a noninvasive procedure used to improve issues of sexual dysfunction and also to enhance sexuality.
Every person’s body contains platelets that are rich in bioactive proteins, which help to promote the healing and regeneration of our cells and tissues. This is what allows us to recover from a wound or illness of the body.
Benefits of the O-Shot
As mentioned, the O-Shot can be used to address a variety of female sexual dysfunction symptoms, including:
- Pain during intercourse
- Vaginal dryness
- Inability to orgasm or to have a strong orgasm
- Urinary incontinence
- Lack of sexual desire
- Difficulty to become aroused
Many of these symptoms stem from several common sexual disorders, such as dyspareunia, anorgasmia, female sexual arousal disorder, hypoactive sexual desire disorder, and more. Fortunately, the O-Shot has shown effective results for each and every one of these disorders!
Results may vary case-by-case, so it is important to consult with Dr. Hernandez to see if this procedure is right for you.
During the Procedure
The entire process is completed in a few simple steps:
- The patient will be asked to lie down and relax
- A topical numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area to avoid any potential discomfort
Upon leaving our office, patients will be asked to regularly practice a few easy pelvic floor strengthening exercises in order to maximize the effects of their O-Shot treatment. It is safe for individuals to resume sexual activity within approximately 4 hours following the procedure, though they may not notice significant improvements from their O-Shot treatment until several days afterward.
